As a farm girl, it doesn’t take much to get her outside.
Her hunting life started with her dad. “He had
all of us kids out hunting with him for as long as I can remember, and had us all do hunter safety at age 12,” said Hannah. “My dad has taught me everything I know about hunting.” She usually hunts whitetail deer, black bear, turkey, and has gone to Colorado to hunt Mule deer.

When asked what her favorite hunting stories were, Hannah responded, “I have too many favorites to narrow it down! I swear every rifle season we have a new crazy story! But my favorite part is just being with all our family and friends.”

Hannah’s advice to other Outdoor women is,
“If you have any interest in hunting I would say just try it at least once. You will create so many memories. It’s not always about hunting but most importantly about having a bond with those that are also interested! For me it’s a family thing, we have done have vacations, and made so many memories and experience doing it together.”

One thing she is interested in learning and improve is learning about calling in the game.
“I would like to work on my calling to be able to call in my own animal instead of having my husband call for me.”
Hannah concludes, “Hunting for me is about family memories and bonding, and also putting food in our stomach.”
